Jan Assersohn

Jan studied piano and clarinet at the Royal College of Music. Her career in music has combined a flourishing private teaching practice in piano, clarinet, theory and aural training with work as an accompanist to choirs, instrumentalists and singers and, for many years, as an examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.

As well as being a busy pianist and teacher, Jan sings with Leatherhead Choral Society, Vaughan Williams Singers (where she also acts as accompanist when needed) and Orchard Singers.
