Juliet Hornby
Deputy Musical Director
Juliet started her career as a singer. She sang in venues as diverse as Roman amphitheatres, French chateaux, Istanbul’s Topkapi Palace and English Cathedrals. She taught singing at St John’s School in Leatherhead for 10 years and currently still has a few private pupils.
She has been the Musical Director of Mickleham Choral Society since 2005 and has recently toured to Italy and France with them. She is a Guest Director of The Martineau Singers and directs a Christmas Concert at The Menuhin Hall for The Grange in Bookham which supports people with disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives. She also is Deputy Director of The Epsom Male Voice Choir. She deputised full time for a year in 2009. During this time Juliet developed a strong rapport with the members of the choir which still endures today.
